What are Icon Sets?

Small pictures that appear based on value:

  • โœ… Green check = Good
  • โš ๏ธ Yellow warning = OK
  • โŒ Red X = Bad

How Excel Decides Icons

By default, Excel splits your data:

  • Top 33% โ†’ Green
  • Middle 33% โ†’ Yellow
  • Bottom 33% โ†’ Red

You can change these rules!


Custom Icon Rules

  1. Home โ†’ Conditional Formatting
  2. Manage Rules โ†’ Select your rule โ†’ Edit Rule
  3. Change the values:
    • Green: >= 80
    • Yellow: >= 50
    • Red: < 50

Show Only Icons

Want icons WITHOUT numbers?

  1. Edit the rule
  2. Check Show Icon Only
